How to choose

What actually differs between the cabins

All three cabins sleep four in two bedrooms, and each has a private hot tub, a fire pit and a grill, so most trips work in any of them. The differences are in the details. The Modern Tiny Home (Cabin 1) has the big stone fire pit, a small screened corner of the deck and a trail to a pond with an observation deck; it has no stove. The Modern Pine (Cabin 2) is the après-ski cabin, with a Jøtul gas stove and a large screened room on the deck. The Aviator (Cabin 3) has the aviation décor, its own Jøtul stove and a large open deck.

The Modern Pine and The Aviator share one property, so they are the pair to book together when eight people travel as one group. The Tiny Home shares its property with one other cabin. Each trip page below names the best fit, explains why, and links the guides that go with the trip; the comparison table puts every feature side by side.

Every cabin has one neighbor, and its own everything

The cabins come in pairs, on two wooded properties a short drive apart south of Malone. The Modern Pine and The Aviator share one: they sit well apart along a gravel drive, and The Aviator is the far cabin, marked with its sign. The Modern Tiny Home shares the other with one neighboring cabin, plus a trail to a pond and an observation deck.

So you will know there is a neighbor. What you will not share is a wall, a deck, a hot tub or a fire pit: each cabin has its own, and the listings say so in writing. The cabins face away from each other where the land allows; at the Tiny Home's property the trail, the pond deck and the parking are shared when both cabins are booked.
