The Modern Pine
The après-ski cabin: a Jøtul gas stove between two picture windows, a large screened room on the deck, a hot tub open all year, and Titus Mountain minutes away.
About The Modern Pine
The Modern Pine is the après-ski cabin. The owner furnished it for the end of a ski day, with vintage ski posters on the pine walls (one advertises skiing in the Province of Québec) and a Jøtul GF 160 DV gas stove standing between the two big picture windows. Guests write about the stove almost as often as the hot tub; one review warns that it heats the room fast, so you rarely need it on for long.
The deck is large, with a screened-in room at one end for bug-free evenings in summer, and a private hot tub that the listing keeps open all year, 24 hours a day. The grill sits on the deck with the barbecue tools. The fire pit is set into the tree line, with Adirondack chairs around it.
Inside there is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, a ductless split air conditioner and ceiling fans, an HDTV, and wifi with an ethernet connection. Two bedrooms, a main bedroom and a bunk room, sleep four in three beds, with one bathroom. Two small things from the reviews: the dining table seats two, so with four people someone eats at the sofa, and one long-stay guest brought their own mixing bowls and a second baking sheet.
The Modern Pine shares its wooded property with The Aviator, the far cabin down the same gravel drive. The two are set well apart and each has its own deck, hot tub and fire pit; one guest noted that The Modern Pine's deck and screen room face toward The Aviator. Titus Mountain is seven minutes away by the listing's count, and the C7 snowmobile trail is a three-minute ride from the parking area, which has room to bring an ATV or a snowmobile.

Questions about The Modern Pine
How many people does The Modern Pine sleep?
Four, across two bedrooms (a main bedroom and a bunk room) with three beds and one bathroom, per the listing.
Is the hot tub private, and is it open in winter?
Yes on both counts. The listing describes a private hot tub on the deck, available all year and open 24 hours.
What is the stove?
A Jøtul GF 160 DV, a Norwegian-made direct-vent gas stove in cast iron with glass on three sides. It draws its air from outside and vents outside, and Jøtul rates it to heat up to about 1,000 square feet, so it warms a cabin this size quickly. The cabin's own instructions explain how to run it. More about the stoves.
Is there a neighbor?
Yes: The Aviator shares the property and the gravel drive. The cabins are set well apart and nothing else is shared; each has its own deck, hot tub and fire pit.
Can we book it together with The Aviator?
Yes. Each cabin is booked on its own listing, so a group of eight can book both and stay a short walk apart. See group stays.
Can we bring a snowmobile, an ATV or a dog?
Yes to all three. The parking area takes a trailer, the C7 trail is about a three-minute ride away, and pets are allowed (a pet fee may apply). New York registration is required for sleds and ATVs.

The cabin is absolutely perfect. They have everything that you need and the space is incredibly clean and well cared for. Is that the end of our road and tucked back in so it’s very private. Close to snowmobile and AVT trails. We genuinely love our stay!

LoganAirbnbA cute cozy get away featuring a hot tub. The space is small and cozy but comfortable. Set up well with plenty of storage for all you would bring.

DouglasAirbnbThe Modern Tiny Home was ours second stay in the Cabins near Titus mountain. Both cabins on this property are great, private, updated, comfortable and close to the mountain if you are skiing. The host was especially accommodating both times we stayed. The private hot tub is key, dog friendliness for our dog Clover is crucial and the bed is comfortable. I do like the covered screened in porch as well. We won’t hesitate to return to this location for a third time if we plan another ski trip next year. Thanks for another awesome stay.
ChristianAirbnbThis was one of the best cabins I’ve ever stayed in. So comfortable, relaxing and close to the mountain will be back for sure !!!
CharleneAirbnbOur stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. The cabin itself was beautiful, and the surrounding scenery was breathtaking. We loved the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—it was the perfect place to unwind. The fireplace made the evenings especially cozy, and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was a highlight of our trip. The host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.
